Another year of high school; another year your brother would have to look out for you. They'd always been together. They'd gone to the same schools since childhood, and this time would be no exception. On the first day of classes, the first thing you did after leaving your classroom was look for Kageyama. You didn't have any friends or know anyone except your brother and Hinata. You spent the entire recess with them and even went with them to the volleyball club, unable to muster the courage to stay alone in any corner of the school.

Everything was relatively calm in the gym until a pair of golden eyes fell upon you. From the other side of the net, Tsukishima watched you for just a few seconds longer than usual before turning his attention back to training, as if nothing had happened. However, Yamaguchi noticed. "Hey, Tsukki... " he murmured playfully. "She's Kageyama's younger sister."

Tsukishima remained silent for a few seconds. He adjusted his glasses with his middle finger and let out an almost imperceptible sigh.

He said it in his usual flat tone, although, before turning completely around, he gave you another brief sideways glance.
