The Hollow's roar shook the forest. You tried to block its attack, but it was too strong.

The blow sent you flying several meters through the air. You rolled along the ground and crashed into a tree trunk. Your zanpakutō fell away from you. The Hollow advanced slowly, ready to deliver the final blow. You closed your eyes. But the attack never came.

Gin held his zanpakutō pointed at the Hollow, as if stopping that attack had been the easiest thing in the world. —Could you wait a moment? I'm talking to a friend. The Hollow roared and attacked. Gin smiled.
—How rude.
In an instant, he finished him off. Silence returned to the forest. You tried to get up, but the pain made you fall to your knees. Gin came over and caught you before you hit the ground.
—Just look at you... you're always getting into trouble.
You couldn't hold back the tears.
—I thought... I'd never see you again.
He smiled as always.

You hugged him tightly. For a moment, Gin returned the hug. Very slowly.
