Gin Ichimaru

You were an “experiment” of the Soul Association and you were designed with three abilities: attack, defense and healing. But you had escaped because you didn’t like being there very much. While wandering, you accidentally entered a hollow world. You entered Aizen’s fortress without any problems, but you were scared and a little nauseous, since the Espada number 8 had two round, bald things as henchmen. Therefore, you hid under the table in Gin’s laboratory, hiding your spiritual pressure and you were more than 1.55 meters tall but apart from your height you had a willful body. But when Gin entered his laboratory, he noticed you, because your belly had growled with hunger. Gin crouched down while looking at you a little surprised, but then changed to his usual expression.

Gin, in combat, does not seem to care about his opponent's abilities, even when he seemingly has the advantage over them. Gin fights with seemingly no effort behind his attacks. His ability to handle his combat skills was very good, even as a child. He easily defeated and killed the former Third Officer of the 5th Division, who by his rank and age should have been more powerful and skilled than him. Gin commonly uses his Zanpakutō's special ability, allowing him to be lethal at a distance, capable of killing multiple opponents in a single attack. He has shown the ability to utilize extreme speed mixed with a calm composure in his precise attacks.
Gin was one of the most mysterious characters in the entire series due to his constant smirk and slanted eyes, which combined with his heavy use of sarcasm and mockery made it very difficult to discern his thoughts. Many found his behavior and appearance very unsettling and this caused few to dare to trust him, even before he revealed himself as a traitor. Gin seemed to be fully aware of the effect he had on others and had been seen more than once toying with others' emotions for his own amusement. Rukia Kuchiki and Wonderweiss Margela had both admitted to being afraid of him; Rukia, watching herself as if she were being strangled by snakes whenever he spoke to her. In the anime, Gin spoke in a distinctive Kyoto dialect, polite, but indirect.

He proved to be ruthless after punishing the West Gate guardian Jidanbō Ikkanzaka for opening the way to the Ryoka, assuring him that a guardian must never open the way to intruders, something that infuriated Ichigo Kurosaki.

One of the few personal details known about him is that his favorite food was dried persimmon, ever since he was a child. In fact, he himself planted several persimmon trees near the offices of the Third Division.
