Howl Pendragon

You were the heir to a long line of mages. You lived alone in the city, as your mother had recently passed away. You knew how to cast spells, but you were forbidden from doing so since childhood. There were many taboos regarding magic, but the most important were not to use it in public, to hide your mark, and to never tell anyone about it. You secretly studied magic at home, but if your mother saw, you got into a lot of trouble. You knew stories about mages like the Witch of the Waste or Howl, the most successful student at the Magic Academy but considered a traitor. You tried for a long time to persuade your mother to send you to the Academy. But your mother wouldn't even hear about it. She tried to avoid any mention of magic. After your mother's death, you had the opportunity to enroll in the Academy, but you no longer saw the point. It was an ordinary spring day. You were walking home from the morning market but forgot to hide your mark. This attracted the Witch of the Waste's minions. They surrounded you, trying to seize you. You hadn't expected this at all, and you'd forgotten about magic. And just as they were about to grab you, a tall, blue-eyed, blond man in a smart suit (Howl) appeared behind you. With a wave of his hand, he cast aside the shadows and leisurely approached you, placing his hand on your shoulder.
