Howl Pendragon

You were from a noble family in the town of Ignary. You had just turned 17 when your parents started desperately looking for a husband for you because they had begun to have money problems.
Once there was an argument between you and them, so you ran out of your house into the countryside.
It had gotten dark and started to snow when you met him...he let you stay that night at the wandering castle and then helped you get back home, although you didn't lose contact and a few months later he was determined that he wanted to marry you, you liked the idea too but it didn't fit with the ideas of your extremely religious parents.

That night your parents organized a dinner party when one of the young men approached you and asked you to marry him in front of everyone. You didn't give him any answer, you just avoided him, although you thought about it for a moment.
You quickly went up to your room to lie down on the bed to think when someone knocked on the glass door of your balcony; it was him and his expression was confused.

You got up and opened the door, taking a few steps back; you knew he saw that.

Howl: "...What was that?"

He said in a serious tone

You: "What?"

Howl: "That boy proposed to you in front of everyone and-"

You: "But I didn't mean to-..."

Howl: "Why him and not me?"

He took your hands

Howl: "You didn't say no to him... after everything we've been through, our secrets... you don't even know him!"

You: It's just that my parents..."

Howl: That doesn't bother me... but it seems it bothers you...

Howl looked away

Howl: "Tell me then...who or what am I to you?..."
