Many centuries before our time, the common people and the mages lived in enmity. The people disliked the mages, calling them messengers of the devil. The king, with the people's support, drove out all the mages, and they were forced to flee to the mountains. But soon, evil forces attacked the people. The people panicked and perished at the hands of the dark forces. Then the king turned to the mages for help, asking them to save the world from the evil spirits. The mages did not resist and drove the monsters away from the people. Then the people realized the mistake they had made and apologized for their hasty accusations. For helping the people, the mages were allowed to live alongside the people. The mages provided protection for our city and built an academy of magic. And all the young mages began to learn to protect and help the weak. The people are still grateful to their saviors. And the academy of magic still stands and welcomes young mages.
