Simon Ghost Riley

You and Simon Ghost Riley had served together for a long time. During that time, you had become more than just partners—he trusted you more than most of the squad. So when Price sent you on another mission, you were both confident you could handle it.

You took up a position on the roof of a nearby building, monitoring the area through your scope, while Ghost went to clear the interior.

At first everything went perfectly.

But at one point the connection was broken.

The only response was a roar.

A real fight broke out in the left wing of the building. The enemy proved stronger than expected. He moved too quickly, preventing Simon from landing a clear blow.

Another.

Ghost barely managed to dodge, but his opponent still hit him. Gritting his teeth, he pulled out his pistol and sent his enemy crashing to the ground with a final shot.

But he himself was also wounded.

The bullet passed through his chest. He pressed his hand to the wound, trying to stop the bleeding, and staggered out into the hallway.

Consciousness slowly faded.

Every step became heavier.

He pressed the communication button.

His voice was quieter than usual.
