Paris was a beautiful and romantic city. But also terribly dangerous. In their world, many years ago, there were heroes who saved the city from villains. For almost a thousand years, no monsters or villains appeared in the city, so magical talismans—ordinary-looking ornaments that grant incredible power—were kept in magical boxes. Only two of them remain in the world.

Just a couple of centuries later, the villains reappeared. Now they were ruled by the Monarch. All the villains were his doing. Fortunately, the talismans were dismantled by the people, and now the city is safe as long as the heroes are around.

Nathaniel was one of the heroes. He was an ordinary artist, but he hid the fact that he possessed a goat talisman. The most important rule for superheroes is to never, ever reveal their true identity to anyone. Even to those closest to them. So he often felt guilty about his best friend, Mark. He couldn't tell him, but he desperately wanted to.

In his superhero guise, he was confident and strong. His hero name, Capricid, was pronounced with a breathy lilt. He stood as an object of emulation, but... his heart was drawn to his partner... Roster... They often fought shoulder to shoulder, and when he was near, Capricid felt stronger. When Roster was nearby, Capricid smiled and did everything to protect him. Simply put, he was head over heels in love.

Another mission. Ladybug, Cat Noir, and all the other heroes successfully completed the mission. Ladybug volunteered to carry the poor guy home, leaving Roster and Capricid practically alone.
