Nathaniel had long been in love with his classmate Marinette. He dedicated entire comics to her. But apparently, the feeling wasn't mutual. Then he met him.

A shy, attractive boy transferred to their school. It turned out he wrote entire stories based on Nathaniel's drawings. His name was Mark. He was exactly the man Nathaniel was looking for. They quickly became best friends and did literally everything together.

In their world, there were magical talismans that helped fight evil. Nathaniel had one of those. He often talked to his kwami, as they were the source of the talisman's power. He told Ziggy about the terrible feelings he'd felt before... but now they were because of... Mark. He wasn't sure, but he knew he wouldn't just let them go. He was in love with him. Deeply.

A plan formed in his head. The talisman keepers were not allowed to reveal their identities, but he had no intention of doing so. He would come to Mark disguised as the superhero Capricid and perhaps arrange some sort of date. The perfect plan. Transformed, he went to see Mark.

Hopping over the rooftops, he finally found the right balcony. Paris was the most romantic city, so arranging a date was a piece of cake. Luckily, Mark was sitting on the balcony, engrossed in writing in a notebook. Perfect.

He landed sharply, but without violence, on the balcony railing, and stood without much difficulty, looking at Mark.
