Finally, Ichigo's True Bankai is unleashed, Yhwach is defeated, and peace is restored—though at a high price for many.

Thousand-Year Blood War: The Lost Agent After the war, Ichigo spends time recovering in Karakura Town. Rukia becomes captain of the 13th Division; the Gotei 13 is reorganized. Although peace returns, the remnants of the Quincy conflict linger. The epilogue jumps forward ten years: new generations emerge, marriages are formed, and the balance is maintained until new threats arise.

Lost Substitute Shinigami Arc Powerless, Ichigo lives a normal life until he meets Xcution, a group of Fullbringers. They convince him they can restore his powers by draining his remaining spiritual energy, but betrayal lurks. Tsukishima manipulates memories; Ginjō, the leader, reveals his own history as a substitute Soul Reaper. Ultimately, Ichigo's Shinigami powers are restored with the help of Rukia and the Gotei 13. Xcution is dismantled, and in the process, the new threat of the Wandenreich (the Quincy nation) begins to emerge.

Thousand-Year Blood War: The Blood War The Wandenreich, a secret Quincy empire led by Yhwach, launches a surprise extermination attack against the Soul Society. In the ensuing chaos, Yamamoto is killed. Ichigo battles Quilge and countless Sternritter. Byakuya's Bankai is stolen. Secrets about the Soul King, the true nature of the Quincy, and Ichigo's lineage are revealed. The Gotei is devastated; war erupts on multiple fronts as the stakes reach cosmic proportions.

Thousand-Year Blood War: The Separation The Royal Guard clashes with the Schutzstaffel. Kenpachi defeats the psychopathic Gremmy, but visions and powers swirl. Ichigo faces Yhwach in duels of destiny. Rukia and Renji awaken new powers (such as True Bankai). The Royal Guard falls; alliances shift. The war intensifies as the full extent of Yhwach's ambition is revealed.

Arrancar vs. Shinigami Arc Aizen orders a large-scale assault on Karakura Town to lure and trap the Soul Reapers. The Gotei 13 defends a fake Karakura Town, duplicating the city to confuse the enemy. Captains and Espada clash: Soi Fon against Barragán, Hitsugaya against Harribel, Mayuri against Szayelaporro, and others. The power of the Hōgyoku becomes volatile, pushing both sides to their limits. This arc culminates in significant defeats for the Espada, but sets the stage for the terrible final confrontation: Aizen's supremacy seems imminent.

To make the pendulum's arc swing back This flashback arc reveals events from 110 years ago that shaped the present: Aizen's hidden Hollowfication experiments, the creation of the Visored, and how Urahara and Yoruichi were forced into exile. We see key figures like Shinji, Hiyori, and Tessai, and discover how they framed Urahara. The tragedy, betrayal, and trauma of that era resonate throughout the story, deepening the motivations and connecting the past to Ichigo's current struggle.

Arrancar: Karakura Decisive Battle Arc The war reaches its climax. Aizen faces Captain Yamamoto; Ichigo achieves his Vasto Lorde form in a battle against Ulquiorra. Isshin reveals Ichigo's heritage. Finally, Ichigo unleashes "Mugetsu," sacrificing all his Shinigami powers to seal Aizen. The captains restore order to the Soul Society. Although Aizen is defeated and imprisoned, his defeat does not resolve all threats; the consequences and the power vacuum remain.

Start: The arrival arc Following Aizen's betrayal, Hollows called Arrancar (Hollows fused with Shinigami powers) begin appearing in Karakura Town. Ichigo and the Soul Society's Shinigami must defend the human world. Meanwhile, the Visored (former Shinigami who have acquired Hollow powers) approach Ichigo, seeking his help in controlling his Hollow side. Ulquiorra kidnaps Orihime, drawing the conflict into Hueco Mundo. Ichigo's Hollow power surfaces, and his alliances with the Visored hint at the complexity of his inner struggle.

Arrancar: The stealth entry arch of Hueco Mundo Ichigo and his comrades invade Hueco Mundo, the Hollow realm. They face powerful Arrancar like Gantenbainne and explore hostile terrain. Nelliel, a former Espada, defects and joins them. Ichigo's Hollow mask grows stronger, but becomes more difficult to control. As they approach Las Noches, Aizen's fortress, they encounter a multitude of enemies and their resolve is tested. This story arc delves deeper into the mystery of Aizen's ultimate goal and the true nature of the Hollow/Shinigami fusion.

Arrancar: The Arc of the Fierce Struggle As the rescue attempt intensifies, battles erupt across Hueco Mundo. Ichigo faces Ulquiorra in a duel that tests both his Hollow nature and his emotions. Renji battles Szayelaporro; Rukia fights Aaroniero; Nelliel confronts Nnoitra. Ichigo's Hollow nearly manifests fully, threatening his control over himself. Orihime is under surveillance, and the situation becomes increasingly complex. Soul Society: The Sneak Entrance Arc To rescue Rukia before her scheduled execution, Ichigo and his allies infiltrate the Soul Society. Guided by Yoruichi, they traverse the Rukongai and penetrate the Seireitei, evading the Gotei 13's patrols. Ichigo trains to awaken his Shikai under pressure while each ally faces obstacles of rank, discrimination, and hidden loyalties. They duel with lieutenants like Ikkaku and encounter resistance from captains who uphold the law at all costs. Meanwhile, Aizen's hidden manipulations begin to surface: the betrayal sown within the Soul Society's structure awakens suspicion and internal unrest.

Soul Society: The Arc of Rescue Ichigo's team ventures deeper into the Seireitei, facing cautious defenses and increasingly formidable opponents. Ichigo battles Renji and then Byakuya, the latter struggling to uphold order and tradition. Meanwhile, Uryū, Chad, and Orihime grapple with separate conflicts, while subplots expose the corruption within Central 46 and Aizen's hidden ambitions. In a dramatic climax, Ichigo unlocks his Bankai, overwhelming Byakuya and preventing Rukia's execution. But Aizen's treachery is revealed: he orchestrated a massacre at Central 46 and escaped using the Hōgyoku. The arc concludes with Rukia rescued, Ichigo's power matured, and a clear enemy declared.

Central History

Background story prior to the series Long before Ichigo's story began, the spiritual balance between the worlds was already unstable. Soul Reapers (Shinigami) oversaw the flow of souls, protecting humans from Hollows—lost and corrupted spirits. In the Soul Society, ambitious captains like Aizen secretly experimented with combining Hollow and Shinigami powers, sowing the seeds of betrayal. Over a century ago, Urahara, Yoruichi, and others discovered these experiments, which culminated in the Hollowfication Incident that created the Visoreds and led to Urahara's exile. Meanwhile, in the Human World, Masaki Kurosaki was linked to a Hollow attack; Ishida's Quincy lineage and the mysteries surrounding Ichigo's birth were all shaped by these past events. All these hidden conflicts set the stage for the collision between the Soul Society, the Hollows, and Ichigo's predestined role as a bridge between worlds.

Shinigami Agent Arc Ichigo Kurosaki, a high school student with the ability to see spirits, meets Rukia Kuchiki when she attempts to destroy a Hollow attacking her family. Mortally wounded, Rukia transfers some of her Shinigami powers to him. Ichigo becomes a Substitute Soul Reaper, tasked with hunting Hollows in Karakura Town and sending souls to the Soul Society. As he defends his friends Orihime, Chad, and Uryū and confronts Hollows like Grand Fisher (who connects to his past), his spiritual awareness grows. Hidden tensions within the Soul Society are hinted at, and Rukia's arrest for illegally bestowing her power upon a human emerges as the crisis that propels him into a wider world of responsibility and conflict.
