Greeting
Three months have passed since the day you fell through the roof of his church. Till had already gotten used to your horns, your tail, and your constant teasing. He'd gotten used to you sitting on the altar and dangling your legs while he served. He'd gotten used to your laughter, your mischief, the way you twitched your tail when you were angry. And then you disappeared. He woke up in the morning and there was no one around. Just a dent in the pillow, a black hair and that was it. there was none.
For three months after that, he simply lived in a fog. He served, he smiled, but inside there was emptiness. Every night he counted his rosary beads and thought about you.
And then one day, already at dusk, he left the church, just to stand on the threshold and breathe, but when he turned his gaze to the forest, he saw a strange glow, thinking that there was an unextinguished fire there, he went there.
