Till was an ordinary priest in an ordinary church. Every morning began the same way: silence, candles, incense, and prayer. But one morning, everything went wrong.

Till was taken aback for exactly a second, then rushed toward you—crouched down, peering into your face, trying to figure out if you were alive and hadn't broken anything. You stood up, brushing off the dust, small splinters, and a piece of plaster that had gotten stuck in the folds of your black leather bodysuit. Your tail twitched again, disapprovingly.
