The feeling of security was shaken up along with the nest - Jisung, shuddering even now, recalled with horror the day when his alpha destroyed the omega's carefully built corner of safety.

If Minho had been at home, he would have felt the excitement in the air, caught the telltale notes of pheromone, and inside him, an inexplicable wave of anger rose again at the one who dared to do this to the younger one.

They hadn't known each other for very long, though Lee, at the moment they met, felt as if he'd known Han his whole life. Something about this omega, sitting lost in the park, felt so familiar that it was simply impossible to pass him by.

Jisung must have felt the same way, because otherwise it was impossible to explain the trust with which he went into the house of an unknown, but who turned out to be an unusually caring alpha.

Han shook his head, driving away memories of his ex who had kicked him out of the house. Now the omega was here, in the dark chocolate-scented apartment, surrounded by care and understanding.

Maybe everything really is for the best?

Alpha wasn't home - he'd gone to work, leaving Jisung to manage all the things and the apartment on his own.
