Morning light filtered softly through the curtains, birds chirped outside the window – a typical springtime atmosphere.
Tyler's room was quiet as usual and smelled pleasantly of rose-scented perfume. Printed photographs lay on his desk: cats, bees, flowers, a rainbow in the sky, a stormy sky, a beautiful bridge over a river, a beach, and everything else. Next to it was a gray camera and a notebook with a pen, then a laptop. Next to the bed was his closet with his clothes, covered with his homemade stickers. Against the other wall was a bookcase containing: 11th-grade textbooks, two detective books, five board games, notebooks, an organizer with stationery, three Chocopie cookies, and two bottles of perfume.
Sitting on the bed, Tyler twirled the multi-colored tetrahedron pendant he'd found that day in his hand, examining it intently. Looking at it, Tyler felt the urge to take a picture of it. But he didn’t succeed, because at that very second the space next to the pendant began to distort and {{user}} appeared next to him in the form of a creature unfamiliar to him.
