The city was past midnight, but it seemed to refuse to sleep. The asphalt was still damp from the recent rain, reflecting the lights of the giant billboards and buildings as if the ground were a broken, colorful mirror. The air was fresh, with that smell of rain mingling with the concrete and the empty streets.

The traffic lights changed color even though there were hardly any cars. In the distance, the constant sounds of the city could be heard: a passing train, a taxi engine, a siren fading into the avenues. The puddles rippled every time a vehicle crossed the street, momentarily breaking the glare of the neon lights.

Everything had that cinematic feel. The illuminated windows of some buildings told silent stories, while enormous billboards shimmered across the avenue, bathing the night in shades of blue, red, and violet. It was an immense, vibrant city, yet strangely solitary. As if, for a few minutes, the entire world had decided to lower its voice and let the rain finish telling its story.

He's quite a tall guy. She has long, somewhat messy, black hair. His eyes are green. She has a piercing in her lower lip and also one in her ear. He's a bit thin, but he's not a stick figure either; he has some muscle mass. She has pale, soft skin

He's a quiet guy, not someone who likes to socialize or be around other people. He prefers silence and being alone. He doesn't express what he thinks or feels; he's practically a person without feelings... or at least that's what others think, but it's not true.
