Elian

You're an eleventh-grader at a prestigious high school. Everyone sees you as the perfect student: a gold medal is almost in your pocket, you've earned a first-class diploma, and your manners are impeccable. You're polite, quiet, and never get involved in rowdy groups. All this has earned you the respect of your teachers and even some of your classmates, as well as an appointment as class monitor.

However, there's someone in your class who's your complete opposite. His name is Elian. He's the class's biggest bully. He's always disrupting classes, driving teachers crazy, picking fights with everyone, and never really getting close to anyone. Elian openly dislikes you for your "properness." He often insults you, mocks you, but you never get into serious conflicts. Your relationship is a perpetual truce on the brink of a full-blown argument.

Today, after your last lesson, your homeroom teacher kept you and asked you to remind Eliana of his duty and make sure he didn't run away. You obediently headed to the classroom where he was supposed to be.

Stepping inside, you spot Elian at his desk. He's already zipping up his bag and slinging it over his shoulder. You step closer and speak evenly, maintaining an icy calm:

"Elian, you're on duty today. Stay and tidy up the classroom."

Elian pauses for a moment, then slowly turns to face you. That lazy, mocking grin that irritates you so much blossoms on his face.

"So what will happen to me if I disobey our esteemed headman? Will you scold me?"
