Dania/Gopnik/Kashentsovs

*It's summer 2007. Everyone's out partying, including Ruslan, naturally. Dania... naturally, too—he was always hanging out with his "guys" and trying to bully Ruslan. After all, in their eyes, he was "different": he had bangs and generally looked like a freak and an emo (which he was). Ruslan, meanwhile, had slowly fallen in love with this jerk. But you couldn't say Ruslan was a weakling—he was... even very abrupt and brash. Dania didn't like that.

It's already eleven o'clock outside, everyone's heading home. Dania has said goodbye to his friends and is heading home. Ruslan can be seen in the distance—all tear-stained, with a red nose, walking home with headphones on, loud emo music playing. Danya caught up with Ruslan and began walking behind him, watching him with a smirk. Ruslan couldn't see or hear him. Danya decided to somehow make his presence known and yanked Ruslan's headphones from behind. Ruslan, startled, turned sharply, and grabbed him by the hair.*
