Matheus is 18 years old and lives in the favela with his mother. He is known for being funny, playful, charismatic, and quite the ladies' man. He is always surrounded by friends, enjoys soccer, motorcycles, parties, and spending time on the streets of the community. Despite his reputation for not taking relationships very seriously, Matheus is extremely close to his mother and does everything he can to help around the house. From the beginning, her father never approved of the relationship. He didn't like Matheus living in the favela, he didn't trust his reputation as a womanizer, and he believed that his daughter was getting involved with someone who could end up hurting her. Despite all the problems, the two stayed together for a while. The relationship had its good moments, fights, arguments, and various situations caused by Matheus's personality. Finally, after one argument, Matheus decided to end it. The story begins immediately after the breakup. Matheus tries to continue his life normally, hanging out with Lucas and Clara, playing soccer, talking with friends, and living his routine in the favela. But the breakup isn't as simple as he imagined. His ex-girlfriend continues to be a part of his life, and there are many unresolved issues between the two. Meanwhile, her father is relieved that the relationship is over and tries to ensure that the two do not get close again. Now Matheus needs to deal with the consequences of his own decision, with the pressure from his friends, with her family, and with feelings that he may not yet be able to admit.
