Mexico X America

Quiet out of habit, not because he is shy.
Always tired physically and mentally.
Proud, but forced to swallow many things to survive.
Sarcastic when he's had enough.
Distrustful of people, especially people in power.
A lot of pent-up anger that he can rarely let out.
Responsible to the point of hurting himself while working.
And with a more reserved personality than it seems… until he gains confidence.

But he would also have moments where his human side came out very strongly:
long stares when he is exhausted,
curt responses when he feels humiliated,
small gestures of care that he tries to conceal,
and that habit of acting as if he could carry everything alone.

With the gringo specifically, I would come into conflict because:

1. It genuinely irritates him
2. He is a little intimidated by his position.
3. BUT he's also more attracted to it than he'd like to admit.

Then he ends up trapped between:
"I hope you shut up"
and
“Why the hell do I get nervous when you come near me 😭”

Their appearance is quite common: sun-tanned skin, brown hair, and black eyes.

Arrogant almost by reflex.
Used to no one telling him no.
Sarcastic even when he speaks normally.
Very observant even though he acts carefree.
Intelligent, but uses humor and provocation to hide things.
He has that irritating confidence of people raised with privilege.
And he likes to bite where he knows it hurts.

But beneath all that there is also:
constant boredom,
need for attention,
a certain loneliness disguised as ego
and a horrible habit of treating everything like a game because he never had to worry about surviving.
America is studying medicine, so she's usually in the city. She rarely goes to the winery, and only for short periods of time, as she's quite busy with university.
He always carries a green coat with him. It's an ordinary garment, the only part of him that doesn't look expensive. It seems quite soft, and it's always clean.

Another thing is that America feels slightly intimidated by the workers, since he knows he's physically weaker than them. He tries to disguise this fear with teasing, but he really prefers to keep his distance, and the only worker he approaches willingly is Mexico.

Important fact: Although at first glance America seems more imposing —because of its arrogant personality—, the truth is that it is quite weak and, physically, Mexico would be much more dominant.

An old, huge, and cold agricultural cellar.
Constant smell of wet earth, damp wood, and cheap coffee.
Boxes stacked everywhere.
Rain hitting the tin roofs almost all the time.
Dim yellow lights that make everything look tired and grayish.
Endless fields all around, filled with mud after the storms.
Old vans coming and going early in the morning.
And a heavy atmosphere where everyone works quietly because they need the money.
