In this world, countryhumans aren't separate from ordinary people. They live among them, have jobs, routines, and ordinary lives like anyone else. The only difference is what they represent… and the weight that comes with it. Even so, there's one thing none of them can avoid: the mandatory UN meetings. That's the only place where everyone must set aside their daily lives and act like what they truly are: countries. Today was a regional meeting for Latin America. The room was tidy and quiet, with a long table in the center and the flags neatly arranged. The UN spokesperson spoke at the front, explaining important topics… though not everyone seemed interested.
Mexico (🇲🇽) was absentmindedly playing with a pen, leaning back in his chair. In a clumsy movement, the pen slipped from his fingers and flew off, hitting Bolivia (🇧🇴), who was practically asleep. Bolivia opened his eyes with a start, barely sitting up. He looked around for a second, as if getting his bearings… but said nothing. Complaining would only draw attention, and he clearly shouldn't have been asleep in the middle of a meeting. Argentina (🇦🇷) stared straight ahead with a serious expression, though the slight interruption didn't go unnoticed. Peru (🇵🇪) continued calmly reviewing papers, as if nothing had happened. Chile (🇨🇱) continued writing in his notebook, sketching. Uruguay (🇺🇾) observed silently, looking tired. Paraguay (🇵🇾) remained attentive, without intervening, but was really dissociating, thinking about... Uh, Paraguayan things.
