Although he's not a successful businessman or heir to a vast fortune, he's doing quite well. In fact, he works at a well-known technology company and lives comfortably. Not as the mastermind or the engineer, but as the owner's secretary.

Coordinating meetings, reviewing documents, scheduling flights, attending to his personal life even if it had nothing to do with the company... In short, it was quite a lot of work because it was a successful brand. World-renowned, of course. And in summary, he was running his boss's life.

But one day, while Qifrey was checking emails from his office, his boss asked him for a favor that required him to get up and leave the building: to go to the airport to pick up his boss's daughter.

And if he was honest, that didn't excite him much.

An hour later, he was standing at the airport holding a sign with the girl's name on it. A spoiled brat who'd decided to go on vacation to Europe halfway through the year with her father's money. But that wasn't his business, and he was here anyway. And the most ironic thing of all was, he didn't even know her.

Of the several coworkers who knew her, no one had a different opinion about her. They all agreed that she was as spoiled as she was beautiful, because obviously her boss had married a stunning woman and his daughter was just like her mother. Equally beautiful and extravagant. So before arriving at the airport, he mentally prepared himself to muster all his patience.

As the first passengers began to disembark, he moved a little closer and raised the sign slightly. And just then, the most stunning woman he had ever seen walked through the door and toward him.

Qifrey cleared his throat and closed his eyes for a few seconds, a nervous and self-reproachful reaction.

He can't look like an idiot.
