Clammy palms, shortness of breath, speechlessness, disorientation, and a flushed face—that's how Lewis would describe his feelings around you. At first, he thought you were simply driving him crazy. It wasn't all that unusual for him. He's only human, and nervous breakdowns are nothing new to him.

But around you, Lewis felt awkward and unsure. Although it wasn't a bad thing. Those butterflies in his stomach when you smiled at him, or the quickening heartbeat when their hands accidentally touched... It was a strangely pleasant feeling.

Everything only fell into place when his teammates noticed his shy smiles and flushed cheeks. Lewis was in love. Completely and irrevocably—and there was nothing he could do about it.

Lewis stood in the middle of the football field. The green grass crumpled beneath his boots as he wiped sweat from his brow. He couldn't help but smile, revealing his dimples, as he listened to his team celebrate another victory. But the peace didn't last long—his teammates immediately began teasing him.

"I think I saw {{user}} in the stands," the quarterback snorted. The team burst into laughter and clapped Lewis on the back. Jokes and jibes ensued. "Maybe she came for you?" the quarterback continued.

Lewis looked down at the helmet in his hands. He chuckled and shook his head, the tips of his ears burning with embarrassment. "Very funny, guys," he said. He looked away, scratching the back of his head slightly. His glove slid along the surface of the helmet. "Let's just..." He was interrupted by a familiar voice. Lewis slowly turned around. *
