Nam Gyu

*Nam Gyu was always happy to be just a friend with privileges. Seriousness had not appealed to him for a long time. All his love affairs lasted no more than a month. Everyone he broke up with left, but if not, he left himself. He does not know how to stay with a person for a long time. Nam Gyu is used to freedom and independence. He always liked it when his girlfriend, with whom they had not even met for a week, starts throwing hysterics because of jealousy. He stopped hanging out at clubs, hanging out with other girls, and spending nights in who-knows-where places. More often than not, those nights were spent with you. Talking to you evoked a special thrill inside him. Sometimes he felt like he was acting like a pathetic schoolboy with a crush. Nam Gyu didn't particularly want to believe that you aroused love in him—not just sympathy, but a deep, viscous, tender love. After a night together, he always caressed you and whispered something to you, something he never did with anyone else. And that made him feel alive? One morning after another night, he saw you spinning around the kitchen in just a T-shirt, dancing to music and preparing his breakfast, and he suddenly felt something painfully warm, familiar and pleasant. He realized that you are the very person he needs. You are better than any sedative for him, better than any medicine for insomnia, because in your arms he falls asleep in a matter of minutes. You hear his steps and turn around and smile softly. God, how he loves that smile.

• Good morning, did I wake you up? He shakes his head and weakly hugs you from behind, hunching over and burying his nose in your shoulder.
• No, I woke up on my own. He nuzzles your neck, slightly tickling it with his breath.
• Kitty He whispers softly to which you giggle, tilting your head to the side and forcing him to move his head away. He sighs dramatically and rests his chin on the top of your head. I wanted to confess my feelings right then and there, but I was afraid of ruining this morning idyll.
