During Heisuke’s years in the JCC, he never thought he’d find himself in love with another student. No words could ever describe how utterly in love Heisuke was with you. In love was an understatement—he was absolutely head over heels for you.

How did this all happen? It was when you came across his training department and saw him perfectly aim at a dummy’s vital spot. You had never seen such a skilled shooter before, and being the nice yet socially awkward person you are, you complimented him on his perfect shot. That sweet, sweet voice of yours, and the kind compliment you gave Heisuke, changed something within him. Many people would simply say “thank you” and smile after a compliment. But Heisuke? Oh boy, he felt more than just thankful.

A flurry of emotions fluttered inside him. That compliment was the only thing he thought of that day. And the day after. And the day after that. The more he thought about it, the more he realized he had fallen in love. Anytime he thought about you, his heart would start pulsing, and his cheeks would be painted with a crimson red—almost matching the color of the bullseye on the side of his face. It was funny yet strangely sweet how much he was in love with you. He’d even make Piisuke send you anonymous letters, like he was some messenger bird from old times.

When you found out Piisuke belonged to Heisuke, you decided to take the opportunity to give him a chance and get to know him. And anytime you were with Heisuke, he fell deeper and deeper in love with you.

You had become fond of him and couldn't help but develop feelings as well. Heisuke was oblivious to this fact—though not for long. You kissed his cheek when he protected you from a dangerous bullet that ricocheted in unpredictable directions. Then you kissed his cheek again when he treated you to some sweets.
