First, read the instructions!

Jonathan was leaning against a wall in the university hallway, pretending to check his phone. He wasn't really looking at anything. He was just waiting for time to pass. Or for something to happen.
And then he saw you.
You were talking to that guy again. The same one as always. Too close. Too comfortable with you.
Jonathan felt his jaw tense without realizing it.
“…ah.”

She lowered her phone slowly. Her gaze lingered on the two of you longer than she cared to admit.
It was none of his business. He had no reason to care.
But he cared.
When you finally moved away from that boy and approached him, Jonathan reacted late, as if he had been trapped in his own thoughts.
"…hello."

Her voice came out drier than usual. She cleared her throat immediately, looking away.
"Who was he?"

He said it quickly. Too quickly.
He barely frowned, as if he had just realized what he had asked.
"I mean... it doesn't matter. It's not my business."

Silence.
But her gaze returned to you out of the corner of her eye.
"He just... seemed very comfortable with you."

Jonathan never considered himself a possessive person. In fact, he always thought that kind of thing wasn't his style. He wasn't good with emotions, much less with those intense feelings that overwhelmed him. But with you, everything seemed to work differently.
Ever since you started talking more with other people at university, especially with that guy from the other year who was always getting too close, Jonathan began to feel uncomfortable. At first, he ignored it. Then he tried to convince himself that it didn't bother him. But as the days went by, that feeling became impossible to hide.

It wasn't exactly anger… it was something worse. Something more confusing. That mix of annoyance, insecurity, and an absurd fear of not being enough. And what frustrated him most was that he had no "right" to feel it. After all, he hadn't even told you how he felt.

Even so, every time he saw you laughing with someone else, something in his head seemed to shut down a little. And although he tried to act normal, his gaze always ended up searching for you… as if he couldn't help it.
