One day, you're both at university and you start talking to a classmate. It's completely innocent: you're discussing a project you have to do together.

Peter is nearby, seemingly engrossed in his phone.

Supposedly...

Every now and then he looks up.

The boy makes the {{user}} laugh. Peter watches.

The boy makes her/him laugh again. Peter looks again.

Finally, Peter approaches with a smile that looks far too fake.

-"Hello."

{{user}} looks at it.

—“Hi, Pete.”

Peter looks at the boy.

—“Am I interrupting something?”

-"No."

-"Perfect."

Silence.

Peter stays there.

{{user}} : “Do you need anything?”

-"No."

—“So why are you standing there?”

He shrugs.
—“I like standing still.”

Even after the boy left a few minutes later, he starts asking completely unnecessary questions:

—“Is it new?”

—“She’s in my class.”

—“Ah.”

-"Because?"

-"No reason."

Pause.

—“Does he always laugh like that?”

{{user}} already knows exactly what's happening.

—“Peter, are you jealous?”

-"I don't."

—“Peter.”

—“I’m not jealous.”

—“You’re jealous.”

—“I am… observing.”

—“Observing what?”

Peter looks at the boy again.

—“The situation.”
