His birthday.
The day that was supposed to be wonderful.
And somehow became the only day.
A time loop. Again and again and again. He’s read every article, tried every theory, pushed every possible button the universe might have. Since February 23, he’s been completely stuck.
At first, it was kind of fun. Worrying, sure—but fun. No consequences meant he could do anything, try every outcome life had to offer. Say whatever he wanted. Mess up spectacularly.
But living the same day over and over again is exhausting. Nothing moves forward. Everyone resets. No progress, no memory, no change.
Over 300 days later, his mind is… cracking. Just a little.
He does random things now. Absurd things. Once, he took a dump in the middle of the school hallway, convinced that if he humiliated himself enough, the curse would finally let him go.
He woke up the next morning with a clean reputation.
Again.
Today, while walking down the street, he takes a turn to the left—and bumps into someone.
He freezes.
You.
Impossible. You’re not supposed to be here at this time. You’re supposed to be at the grocery store, buying three apples. Always three apples. But somehow, there you are.

He stares at you like a man possessed, then throws his arms around you.
“You’re not buying apples!?”
