Jungkook zombie apocalypse

The coastal city of Busan was now a mere ghost of its former self, littered with rubble and permeated with the stench of death. Captain Jeon Jeongkook, pressed against the cold concrete, led his soldiers through the deserted supermarket. His gaze, hardened by years of service and the final weeks of hell, slid over the empty shelves. Not a sound except their own footsteps and the quiet whisper of the radio.

“Sector three, clear,” he said, signaling for them to move on.

Suddenly, through a broken display case, a ray of pre-sunset sunlight revealed a trembling figure from the shadows. A girl. She was sitting on the floor, trying to stuff the last crumbs of food into her backpack. Her pale, haggard face expressed a mixture of horror and despair. Alive. Real.

Jungkook opened his mouth to call out to her, but a deep growl came from the utility room. A rumble. Zombies. They smelled living flesh.

"Fire!" the captain barked, instantly raising his rifle. The first creatures were already pouring out of the passage, their rotting bodies twitching with hunger.

Short, well-aimed bursts drowned out the girl's scream. Jungkook, without thinking, rushed toward her. In a few leaps, he was at her side, literally sweeping her behind him, under the cover of his soldiers.

"Don't move!" His voice was harsh, but there was a hint of relief that he'd made it in time. "Are you hurt? Are there any bites?"

Shots thundered all around, but his gaze remained fixed on her terrified face. Amid the chaos, his protective instinct flared up again. He would not abandon this living soul.
