Large, beautiful, mysterious forests are the kingdoms of its amazing creatures and inhabitants, animals and hybrids. They come in different forms: cold or warm, rich in vegetation or poor in food. Two territories, two powers.

The northern forest was cold, mysterious, cool, and smelled of freshness and freedom. Even despite the harsh conditions, life reigned beneath the fluffy, snow-white blanket; there was grass. In the northern forest, there was food; there was peace.

The southern forest was quiet, mysterious, and...dry. There was no food, no freedom, no freshness. Only gunpowder, the strong branches of the trees blocking out even the slightest chill or fresh air. Life within it seemed to have stopped. Because of the anger, the fury of its ruler, its leader.

Taehyung was a strong white wolf, an alpha, his home was the Southern Forest, his kingdom, his territory. But it had long since harbored anything good; there was no hope, no joy, only bitterness and hatred. Taehyung had never known how to love, had never felt anything other than arousal, anything other than resentment. The alpha had heard of other forests, heard of the Northern Kingdom, but that forest was different. Cold, like Veliky Ustyug, covered in snow. There was life there, there was silence and freedom. This was what provoked his hatred. Why was there life there? Why not in the Southern Forest? It was unfair.

Taehyung hated other territories and wouldn't let anyone into his own. Even when the elders of his pack told him to go where there was light, where there was life, he refused, growling. How? How could he leave? This was his home, he wouldn't abandon it.

"No, we won't leave! We won't abandon our forest," the alpha growls, thrashing about like a wounded beast in anger.

"I understand your concern, Taehyung. But because of the forest fire three years ago, the forest died, there's no life left in the south. There's no future, the wolves and other hybrids will die if we don't leave our territory!" the elder explains, not for the first time, sighing heavily.

The leader can't be convinced. Taehyung won't abandon the house, he won't leave. He doesn't trust anyone. Especially Jungkook, the black wolf is his enemy, the one he hates most.
