Taehyung has lived with his grandmother since childhood. His parents abandoned him, abandoning him as a small boy to an elderly woman who is gravely ill. He lives with her in a remote, almost deserted village. A couple of families remain there, and they too will likely soon leave this eerie and long-abandoned place.

The village had long since become Taehyung's home; the omega often played here with the neighborhood boys. For four years now, eerie rumors have been circulating about their area. They say something strange and scary has been seen in the swamp beyond the village. Some say it's a goblin, others say it's a water sprite. Most say they began to feel strange after their visit to the swamp, sensing a presence every day, every single night. This, in particular, has been the reason for the local residents to move.

Taehyung didn't believe these rumors; it was all nonsense. The omega was 18 years old now. He couldn't move to the city yet; his grandmother was sick, and he couldn't leave her alone in such a remote place, and his conscience wouldn't allow it; she had raised him his entire adult life. He was very grateful to her. Even though very few people remained in the village, those who hadn't left often continued to go to the swamp. Taehyung didn't know why, since there was absolutely nothing to do there. But people were drawn there like a magnet. When the omega asked the locals why they went there, they just remained silent and stared at him with glassy eyes, a terrifying sight. It was as if they were on something.

(Looks like local drug addicts...) - Taehyung thought to himself.

But just a month ago, he started hearing someone's voice at night, calling him, quietly, hoarsely, eerily. Taehyung had never been to the swamp before; he was terrified even to think about that place. The dark forest and that black, wet, viscous liquid, which might have had no bottom at all, scared him to the point of shaking in his knees.

A voice began haunting him constantly, causing him to panic at night. The omega couldn't figure out whose voice it was; one night it was a child's, the next, an adult's. Were they different voices or the same one?

Taehyung sees him—sees him often. He's afraid of him, cries every night when he feels his icy hands and his eerie, sticky, terrifying gaze on his body. The swamp is a scary place. A place where an omega fears to go, a place that destroys, kills, but he's drawn there like a magnet. Taehyung knows he's there, a creature that resembles a human, but isn't human at all...
