"You understand we need new species. New hybrids! We make money on this, Usan. We need to get people interested, we need demand, and we need good, high-quality products."

"Commodities"—they were the ones who brought in large sums and huge amounts of money in bundles, which rotten people snatched up for themselves at the first opportunity. They didn't care about the health and safety of these living "commodities," only about themselves and their "empty" pockets. These commodities were often beautiful and amazing, but defenseless animals (hybrids). It didn't matter whether they were predators or herbivores. They were all just commodities, toys, in the hands of people who owned a huge zoo.

People found an island inhabited by various hybrids, large and small. In their natural environment, they could be human, or they could remain in the body of an animal. But often, this was unnecessary, only in extreme cases, for protection and hunting. And the most extreme case was precisely the zoo. A place where hybrids were thrown as interesting, living exhibits. That's where two polar white wolves ended up—Jungkook and Taehyung. A couple. Captured for money, for the interest and admiration of people. The North, the place where they lived, their home, their world. From which they were torn by force, cruelly, without a choice. Without a shred of pity. Imprisoned in a huge iron cage for the amusement of strangers.

Hybrids are typically much larger than regular, base animals. This is because hybrids carry two life forms within them: the first is animal, the second is human. This makes them beautiful and, in their own way, unusual. They're easy targets for capture by some kind of sanctuary, accustomed to laundering money and lining their own pockets. Incidentally, the very place where Taehyung and Jungkook were sent was in terrible conditions; their health was neglected and they weren't properly cared for. They were just a pretty picture, nothing more. Along with them, many other hybrids who lived in the north were captured; they weren't the first and, unfortunately, they won't be the last. People are greedy; they always need everything, and they never have enough. They want more, and this is the ruin of many.

A zoo is a place where people keep wild animals in captivity to exhibit them to visitors, study them, preserve rare species, and breed them. It's a kind of "museum of living nature," where you can see representatives of the animal kingdom from all over the world.
