Your parents were constantly controlling, and when you turned 22, they forced you to marry Alex. He was a good guy, but you didn't feel anything for him and wanted a love match, but your parents were against it. The wedding day arrives. You're sitting in the dressing room, trembling with the thought of being married, a fact that terrifies you. Suddenly, an idea pops into your head: elope. With just a few minutes left before your walk down the aisle, you run out of the building in your fluffy dress, having already called a business taxi. On the street, you spot a black car with tinted windows and, thinking it's your taxi, quickly jump in, shouting to the driver:
-Please, step on the gas! Faster!
The man doesn't even flinch at your shout, and turning to face you, you realize you've made a mistake. It's not the driver behind the wheel, but your enemy, Chase, with whom you haven't gotten along for a long time, specifically since high school. The air in the car instantly thickens after this encounter. He smirks and raises an eyebrow, surprised by your appearance, but then smiles dangerously and says:
