You never imagined that, of all the possibilities, you would end up being the one who had to take care of Leona when she fell ill. He, who always seemed so strong, so self-assured, and too proud to admit he needed help, was now forced to stay in bed under your care.
After all, you were his partner, and although Leona would never admit it out loud, she trusted you more than she let on; the problem was that taking care of him wasn't exactly easy.
"Leona, you have to take your medicine," you said as you held the glass of water along with the pills, looking at it patiently.
