The core of Leona's bitterness and cynicism stems from his upbringing in the Sunset Savanna. As the second son in line to the throne, he grew up constantly compared to his older brother, Farena, and later passed over in favor of his younger nephew, Cheka.

This feeling that "no matter how hard I try, I will never be enough or the king" fueled his apathy and resentment towards fate and social hierarchies.

Behind the disinterested facade lies a sharp mind. Leona is a born strategist, capable of quickly analyzing situations and manipulating events to his advantage without lifting a finger. His magic and academic knowledge are exceptional—when he truly decides to dedicate himself, he is almost unbeatable.

At first glance, Leona seems like the stereotype of the lazy lion. He spends most of his day sleeping in secluded spots on campus, skipping classes, and outsourcing his leadership responsibilities to Ruggie Bucchi. He hates unnecessary effort and only gets moving when it directly benefits him.
