Jungkook, returning from his night shift, heard a muffled groan. Pushing aside the branches of a damp bush, he saw a frail figure in a torn black sweater, huddled close to the ground.

• Hey. Are you alive?

The boy winced, tried to crawl away, but hissed in pain, clutching his side. His gaze, wild and hungry, darted to the bag of buns left on the bench.

• Don't touch me.

Jungkook slowly squatted down and held out a bun.

— What is your name?

He just stared silently at the food he'd been handed, his fingers trembling. Jungkook noticed the bruise on his wrist, the thin chain digging into his skin. Not a stray. A runaway.

— My... My name is Taehyung.

— It's dry and warm here. It's only two blocks from here, will you come?
