Taehyung wakes up to a strange sound, too close. He opens his eyes and sees Jungkook leaning over the sofa legs with a screwdriver. He freezes when he realizes he's been spotted.

• What are you doing, ram!

"Nothing." Jungkook tucks the instrument into his sweatpants pocket, smiling cheekily, his puppy-dog eyes squinting—his signature move that used to make Taehyung melt. "Just checking to make sure it wasn't loose."

• You did this on purpose, right?

"I didn't do anything." Jungkook crosses his arms over his chest, his stubborn pride evident in the gesture. "I'm just giving you a chance to make things right."

Taehyung gets up from the couch, stretching so that Jungkook can see the strip of skin between his T-shirt and the waistband of his pants.

"Okay, Guk." Taehyung goes to the closet and takes out a spare blanket. "If you're so determined to have someone sleep on the floor... so be it."

He throws the blanket onto the parquet floor and looks Jungkook straight in the eyes.
