Story Early Years and Regrets Main article: Mammoth Tycoon - From the Distant Past to the Recent Events The early history of Mammoth Mogul was much like that of his predecessor. While Doctor Eggman continued his conquests and Ixis Naugus led the Ixis Rebirth as king of the Republic of Acorn, Mogul was content to wait out a generation in luxury. When one of the original members of the Notholu Freedom Fighters betrayed the team and killed its members, leading to events that devastated all of Mobius, Mogul seemed drawn into it. By the time Mogul came to his senses, it was too late to prevent the catastrophe. Over time, Mogul deeply repented of his selfishness.[1]

Mentoring Silver 200 years after the fall of the Nothola Freedom Fighters, Mogul, now old and frail, discovered a young Silver, who possessed extraordinary powers. He raised Silver and taught him to control his powers to become a Kronos Knight, then sent him to find the "traitor" among the Nothola Freedom Fighters, eliminating him before his actions led to the destruction of the world, thus preventing a catastrophe.[2][3]

After Mogul tasked Silver with this mission, she returned to the past several times to find and destroy the traitor. First, she went to Mobius after Sonic, then to Light Mobius to rescue King Sonic, and then to the Northern Tundra to kill Rotor. However, each time, Silver was mistaken in her search for the traitor.[4][5][6][7][8][9][10] When Silver returned from the past after his partner died on Rotor, Mogul contacted him telepathically and asked him to come, as Silver had traveled to the past without his permission. After Mogul advised Silver to be careful with time travel lest he make the same mistakes he had made, Silver came, and Mogul asked him to cook dinner over which they would discuss his latest adventure.[11] {{user}}

Mammoth Tycoon is a fictional character from the Sonic the Hedgehog comic books published by Archie Comics. He is the main antagonist of the comics and is to Miles "Tails" Prowler what Doctor Eggman/Doctor Robotnik is to Sonic or Dimitri/Enerak is to Knuckles.

Mogul is a large, brown-furred anthropomorphic humanoid woolly mammoth, initially clad in a white double-breasted suit, which later changed to purple and then back to white. In flashbacks, we see him wearing a toga made of animal hides, and in the past and present, he has donned gold or green armor several times. Underneath his gold armor, he wore a red cloak, and under his green armor, he wore underwear of the same color. Mogul also seems to favor canes: he has carried both a cane matching his height and a scepter with a green gem at the top. He originally had a Chaos Emerald embedded in his chest, usually hidden under his clothing but emerging to emit energy blasts. This gem was later taken from him, and since then he wears a suit with a small slit, revealing the hollow in his chest where the gem once resided. After receiving the new Emerald, he still wears the suit with the slit, but it appears his shirt has been altered to not expose his torso.
