Dr. Eggman is a burly, bald man with a bright red nose, eyes hidden behind blue glasses, and a thick brown mustache. His classic attire includes a red military jacket with yellow cuffs and buttons, white gloves, black pants, and boots. He has the appearance of an eccentric scientist, often compared to an egg due to his body shape. He is responsible for most of the dangers on Mobius because of his creations that help him spread terror across the planet. Dr. Eggman is a mastermind; with his robot empire and extensive array of vehicles and weapons, he has shown that he is much more than just a threat. He is an evil mastermind who wants complete control of Mobius and to surpass Sonic, the hedgehog who always thwarts his plans. Eggman previously created Metal Sonic, a robot resembling Sonic. Eggman was the one who murdered Dr. Starline, his former partner, but after Dr. Starline betrayed him, Eggman didn't hesitate to confront him, defeating and then killing him, humiliating him in a battle that only Belle witnessed.

Mimic is a purple, anthropomorphic octopus with a large, bumpy head, a skull-shaped beak (with a black mark on top), black eyes, and ankle-length tentacles. He wears a tattered black poncho, gray or black head coverings and shoe covers, has suction cups on his hands and feet, and his past versions (as a member of the Diamond Cutters) wore more elegant clothing. He is purple with tentacles for hair, a beak, and a tattered poncho, and uses his shapeshifting abilities to transform into other forms. Mimic is a master of disguise, perfectly mimicking any inhabitant of Mobius, undetected and using this to his advantage. Mimic betrayed his former team, the Diamond Cutters, in the past, but what he didn't know was that Whisper survived. Now, wanting to kill her to finish the job, Mimic is evil, relaxed, and self-assured, using his knife to attack his opponents.

Kit the Fennec (Kitsunami) is a blue fennec fox with a teardrop-shaped white patch, long ears with blue tips, and glowing purple eyes. He wears a Hydro Pack, studded white gloves, and yellow boots with black details, all designed to assist him on his missions. Kitsunami was created by Dr. Starline to defeat Tails and replace him, but when he learned of his origins, he allied himself with Surge to destroy Sonic. Like Surge, Kit is psychologically traumatized by what Dr. Starline did to him, causing his past memories to be erased, leaving only those he recently experienced with Surge.

Surge is an anthropomorphic tenrec with bright green fur, a black mark on her face, and turquoise eyes. Her rebellious street style includes baggy yellow and black clothing (a ripped shirt and striped pants) and punk accessories like studded gloves, silver rings and earrings, and her quills tied back in a ponytail, reflecting her impulsive personality. She can be wild and cruel in battle, fueled by electrical power. Created by Dr. Starline before she escaped his mind control, Surge was created with the mission of destroying Sonic. Because of this, she constantly strives to surpass him, humiliate him, and ultimately succeed, always falling in defeat. Surge allied herself with Kitsunami to defeat Sonic. Like Kit, Surge is psychologically traumatized by Dr. Starline's actions, fueling her intense thirst for revenge. She wants to destroy Starline, but can no longer do so, as he is dead.

Lanolin is an anthropomorphic sheep with white, woolly fur, small black horns, blue eyes, and a pinkish-black nose. She wears adventurous-style clothing, such as green military pants, brown boots, fingerless gloves, and an orange-yellow shirt, always sporting a bell around her neck. Her appearance combines ovine features (wool, horns, hooves) with human attire, reflecting her hardworking and adventurous personality. Lanolin is part of the Diamond Cutters with Whisper and Tangle as her team, though they don't get along very well, given that Lanolin is a rather strict and somewhat stressed boss, often working even on her days off.

Jewel is an anthropomorphic beetle with light blue skin, pink eyes, and an iridescent exoskeleton with a rainbow sheen that changes color (pink, yellow, green). She wears a pink professional outfit consisting of a jacket, miniskirt, white gloves, a white tie with a brooch, and wedge shoes. She is very laid-back and meticulous, but well-intentioned. She runs a museum in Spiral Hill Village, a collection of objects given to her by her best friend and childhood friend, Tangle. Jewel has now helped the Restoration by becoming its director, overseeing various departments to maintain order within the agency.

Tangle is an anthropomorphic lemur with grayish-white fur, vibrant purple eyes, and a long, strong tail that she uses for fighting and moving. She wears a yellow tank top, a black sleeveless jumpsuit with orange stripes, black fingerless gloves with orange details, and yellow high-top sneakers with white laces and soles. She is known for her energetic and optimistic personality and her unique ability to control and extend her tail to attack or capture her enemies. Tangle is friends with Whisper, supporting her through her difficult past and wanting her to forget it and move on. Tangle is always out on adventures, collecting items for her best friend and childhood friend, Jewel. They get along well, and Tangle is always looking to help and keep Jewel safe from any danger.

Whisper is an anthropomorphic wolf with brown and white fur, known for her dark gray combat outfit with black details, clawed gloves, and military boots, and her signature cream and gray cat mask/visor that covers her right eye and allows her to use her Wisp device. She wears her long hair tied in a ponytail, with a strand covering her eye, and wears arm sleeves, leggings, and knee pads, reflecting her role as a stealthy sniper. She is quiet and reserved, as well as somewhat distant and guarded, and is Tangle's best friend. Whisper was formerly part of a team called the Diamond Cutters, but they were all betrayed and killed by Mimic, except for Whisper, who managed to escape. She vowed revenge against Mimic for what he did. Whisper is now part of the current Diamond Cutters, the second generation, teaming up with Tangle and Lanolin.

Knuckles is a robust, anthropomorphic red echidna, tough and serious, as well as defiant and sometimes grumpy, with a short temper. Knuckles is the guardian of the Master Emerald, a powerful emerald located on Angel Island, the sanctuary where he lives and protects it from being stolen. Knuckles is strong, characterized by his large fists with sharp spikes, white gloves, and red and yellow shoes with green cuffs, in addition to a white crescent-shaped mark on his chest and long, dreadlock-like spikes on his head. Knuckles is the strongest of the group, primarily responsible for brute force.

Amy is an anthropomorphic pink hedgehog with green eyes, sweet and kind, with a bravery for defending her friends and those in need. She wears her signature sleeveless red dress with white trim, red and white boots, white gloves with gold bracelets, and a red headband. She wields her Piko Piko hammer with central discs, a gray handle, and a leather grip; it's a double-sided mace, quite a powerful weapon against enemies when she fights. Amy is in love with Sonic but has never been able to tell him since Sonic is a hedgehog much more focused on his adventures. Because of this, Amy has focused on something more important: continuing to face the dangers that threaten Mobius. Amy is Cream's best friend, always there for her to help whenever she needs it.

Tails is an anthropomorphic fox, Sonic's best friend, and the brains of the team. He has yellow fur, a white chest, and two yellow tails with white tips. He's intelligent and brave for a young boy. Tails is good at creating weapons and vehicles to help his friends and Sonic face threats from Dr. Eggman or any other enemy they encounter. Tails is the brains of the group, devising strategies and ideas to win battles, and he often fights alongside Sonic. Tails wears red and white sneakers. He uses his tails like a helicopter to fly and reach speeds comparable to Sonic's, and he also uses them to strike enemies.

Sonic is the hero of Mobius, a slim and laid-back anthropomorphic blue hedgehog who runs incredibly fast and faces threats from Dr. Eggman or any other enemy on Mobius. He loves seeking out challenges and living a life full of excitement and relaxation. Sonic wears red sneakers with white soles, which help him run quickly. Sonic loves chili dogs and the adventures he has with his friends; his best friend is Tails.
