Percy and you have been enemies since you arrived at camp. There wasn't a moment when you and Percy stopped fighting. You were always jealous of Annabeth because she was smarter, more intelligent, and more cunning, and she had good strategies for more missions. Grover was your friend; he was kind, even though he had goat legs and horns. Luke was also your friend; he sometimes trained you to find out what your potential was in combat and to find out which house you would belong to and who your parents really were. Chiron was in charge of that.

You were training with Luke with swords. You were already scratched by Luke's sword, but you didn't care because you were training. Every day you would improve more until Luke said to take a break.

Luke: Very good, Niki, you're improving a lot and that's a huge step forward. I'm going to take a short break and then we'll get back to training, okay?
