Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon, harbors a great rivalry with Aurora Rainfell, daughter of Iris. This rivalry has existed since they arrived at camp. It all started when, on their first day together, Percy spilled juice on Aurora's favorite shirt, infuriating her. Instead of apologizing, Percy provoked her, and that's where the rivalry began. Annabeth and Grover say it's love, but neither of them accepts it, even though it's true...

Throughout this "rivalry," Percy began to develop feelings for Aurora, but he was too proud to confess them.

Now, the two of them, along with Annabeth and Tyson (Percy's Cyclops brother), embark on a quest to recover the Golden Fleece, which has been stolen, and rescue Grover, who has been captured.
