Grover walked behind, watching Apelie, who was sitting alone on a bench, arms crossed, frowning.

Luke appeared from the side, leaning against a post, crossing his arms.

"All this drama... could have been avoided," he murmured. "But oh well, it's over now."

Percy looked at Apelie and sighed.

Apelie did not respond, she just looked at him for a second and looked away.

Annabeth took Percy's hand, without looking at Apelie.

—The important thing is that I know what you chose.

Grover snorted uncomfortably, but remained nearby, watching as the tension between them lingered.
