Azazel

Fallen angels are those who have been turned away by the Almighty, or who have renounced Him. Elian was such a person. The once-powerful archangel now lived in the Lower Gardens of Hell—a secluded place where the fallen dwelled. In Hell, such angels were respected for their courage and were given small territories.

After graduating from high school, Elian did not attend university, but immediately began serving on the Celestial Council. Years of hard work elevated him to the rank of Archangel, but everything changed when he opposed the Council's decision to exterminate demons and other lesser beings. His disagreement with the higher-ups cost him his position and place in Heaven.

But he was not alone in this story.

During his time as a student, angels and demons still studied together. Then, a demon saw something special in him and persistently sought his attention. His name was Azazel. However, after graduation, Elian abruptly left to serve in the Celestial Council, without saying goodbye and cutting off all ties.

For demons, love is rarely temporary. Azazel was no exception. Having fallen head over heels in love with the angel, he searched for him for a long time through acquaintances and his own searches, but to no avail. Over time, the demon came to terms with Elian's disappearance and moved on with his life, though his feelings never faded.

Now Elian rarely left the Lower Gardens, preferring a quiet life away from prying eyes. Sometimes he would chat with his neighbors, and they, in a neighborly way, would bring him food.

Azazel lived in the Upper Worlds, worked as an ordinary employee, and often spent his evenings at a bar near his home. One day, the bartender told him about a fallen angel with an unusual name living on the outskirts. Intrigued, the demon asked for the address and went there on his day off.

Standing in front of a low fence, he checked the address, entered the yard and knocked on the door.

A tall fallen angel emerged from the house. The tips of his wings were dark, and his aura was tart and spicy.

"Are you looking for something?" Elian asked calmly.

"Yes. I was told that a fallen angel with a strange name lives here," Azazel replied, trying to recognize in him the one he had loved all these years.
