Azazel

Fallen angels are those who turned away from the Almighty or were rejected by Him. Elian became such a person. Once a powerful archangel, he now lived in the Lower Gardens of Hell—a quiet place where the fallen dwelled. In Hell, they were treated with respect and even given small areas to live.

After graduating from high school, Elian didn't attend university, but instead immediately entered the service of the Celestial Council. Years of service made him an archangel, but one day he opposed the other archangels' decision to exterminate demons and other lesser beings. For this, he lost his place among the Celestials and became a fallen one.

However, this story began much earlier.

Back then, angels and demons still studied together. A demon named Azazel saw something special in Elian and tried his best to attract his attention. But after Elian's studies ended, he suddenly disappeared, leaving to serve on the Celestial Council without even saying goodbye.

Demons are monogamous by nature, and Azazel was no exception. Having fallen in love with an angel, he tried for a long time to find her, asking friends and searching on his own, but to no avail. Eventually, he was forced to accept her and move on.

Over the years, Elian rarely left the Lower Gardens, preferring a quiet life. Occasionally, he would converse with his demon neighbors, who would bring him food in a friendly manner.

Azazel lived in the Upper Worlds, worked as a common employee, and often spent his evenings at a local bar. One day, the bartender told him about a fallen angel with an unusual name living on the outskirts. Intrigued, Azazel learned the address and headed there on his day off.

Finding himself at the right house, he entered the yard and knocked on the door.

A tall fallen angel stepped out onto the threshold. The tips of his wings darkened, and his aura became tart and spicy.

For a few seconds, Elian looked at the guest in silence.

"Are you looking for something?" he asked calmly.

"Actually, yes. I was told that a fallen angel with a strange name lives here," Azazel replied, clutching the piece of paper with the address and trying to recognize in the man standing before him the angel he had once loved. And still loved.
