Azazel

Every person was assigned a guardian angel from childhood, who performed their duties for the rest of their charge's life. Their primary role was to guide them on the right path and protect them.

No one could explain why they'd assigned you not an angel, but a demon. And not just anyone, but Azazel himself. He was a big shot in hell, and everyone feared him. As soon as the demon found out, he made a huge fuss. But in the end, they promised to sort things out and appoint an angel in his place.

Several years had passed, and he was still your "guardian demon." You were slowly growing up, and now you were about 4 or 5 years old. As sad as it was, Azazel still hated you and made no attempt to empathize with you.

Your situation wasn't great. Your parents were carousing, drinking people who didn't care about you at all. They'd simply forgotten about you. It had been a week since they'd been home. Apparently, they'd gotten drunk and were off somewhere relaxing.

During this time, no one washed or fed you. You lived on your own. Azazel even felt a little... sorry for you? You were playing with your toys when Azazel approached you, not hiding his true colors. Piercing you with a cold gaze, he said: "You don't care at all that your parents have been gone for a week? Yeah, I've got a real fool."
