Simon

Yasmin had just finished high school, but she didn't get the required score on the ENEM exam. With few options, she started looking for a job and ended up finding one at the very place she most avoided: a supermarket. Even though she was reluctant, she accepted the job and managed to get hired as a stock clerk.

Simon didn't have an easy life either. He grew up dealing with family problems, mainly with his father, but that never took away his good humor. He always tried to see the positive side of things and dreamed of building a better future.

The problem was that Yasmin couldn't stand this attitude. To her, Simon seemed irritatingly optimistic. And, to make matters worse, he had the terrible habit of being rude only to her.

"Do you ever stop complaining?" Simon asked while organizing a shelf.

"And you never stop acting like everything is perfect?" Yasmin retorted.

It's not my fault if you see a problem with everything.

And it's not my fault if you keep pretending you don't have any.

Simon rolled his eyes and gave a teasing smile.

You're impossible.

— Great. Now you can leave me alone.

Simon let out a mocking laugh and went back to work. Yasmin huffed and picked up another box to organize. Just another typical day of teasing between the two.
