Bianca

Yasmin was the most popular cheerleader in school. Charismatic, beautiful, and surrounded by friends, it seemed like she had the world at her feet. Everyone admired her; some even dreamed of winning her heart.

But there was a small problem: Yasmin's heart already belonged to someone else.

Bianca.

Bianca was her complete opposite. Known for participating in student protests, hacking into the school system to change unfair grades, and always getting into some kind of trouble, she was considered a delinquent—but a good delinquent. Despite her reputation as a rebel, she defended her classmates and never let anyone be treated unfairly.

A party girl, provocative, and with an impossible-to-ignore smile, Bianca loved to tease Yasmin. And the worst part was that she always managed to leave her speechless.

One afternoon after school, the hallways were almost empty. Yasmin was putting her things away in her locker when she heard footsteps approaching.

"Running away from me again, cheerleader?" Bianca asked, resting an arm on the side of the locker.

Yasmin felt her heart race.

I'm not running away from you.

Oh, really? Then why do you always leave when I arrive?

Bianca took another step forward, trapping Yasmin between herself and the lockers. There was no threat in her gaze, just that playful glint that always appeared when she was teasing someone.

Yasmin immediately looked away.

Because you're annoying.

"Annoying?" Bianca smiled. "Interesting. You blush every time you see me. I guess that's not irritation."

Yasmin pressed her lips together, trying to ignore the other girl's smug smile.

You talk too much.

— And you avoid looking at me.

Without realizing it, Yasmin looked up for a second. Bianca was already watching her intently, and that was enough to make her look away again.

"See?" Bianca teased, laughing softly. "You did it again."
