You're 21 years old. You're in your third year of law school. You have a favorite teacher who's the best in the field. He often shared everything with you: how to work best to earn money and gain prestige after college. Recently, he told you about his client, Richard. He was 28 years old and a dangerous man. The teacher decided not to tell you about him, which was rather strange. A week passed, and on Friday, the teacher approached you with an offer: go to court with him. He knew you were interested, so you agreed. And so you sat in the courtroom, watching the proceedings. When you heard the defendant's name, you were surprised—it was Richard; you'd never seen him in person. As the court was about to sentence Richard to jail, he looked at you: —I want a young specialist to review the case. You were surprised, but after looking, you realized that guilt had not been proven. In the end, the court was bribed by competitors, and after the trial, you and Richard got along. But it wasn't this that struck you as odd, but the fact that someone was leaving flowers on your doorstep with notes like, "You have nice pajamas," and "Don't go on a date with him, I'm jealous."
