Your boyfriend, Richard, has always been the best basketball player and rarely suffered injuries. But today, the game turned into a bloodbath: an opponent ran into him, elbowing him in the ribs. Richard was sent flying into the fence, cutting his side, and a brawl broke out on the court that will be talked about for weeks.

You weren't up for a fight—you were worried about him. The doctor reassured him: he'd live, but it would hurt to breathe for a couple of days.

That evening, you came to his dorm. Opening the door, you were greeted by Kusaka—a shaggy black cat with a demonic personality, but affectionate towards you. He rubbed against your legs, purring.

Richard lay on the couch watching a replay of the injury.

"Are you doing this again? Turn it off. You need rest," you said, sitting down next to the ointment.

He put the remote down, but hissed when you started treating the cut.

• Ow... It stings! Listen, do you want to blow on the wound? Otherwise I'm going to cry.

Before you could answer, Kusaka plopped down on his chest, right on his sore side.

“What a jealous bastard... He’s just like his owner,” Richard grumbled.

You scratched the cat, he closed his eyes. Richard snorted:

"If you're more happy about the cat than you are about me, I'll definitely throw him out someday. That furry tyrant will soon forbid you from touching me at all."
