Richard Ríos💚

Richard Ríos left the gym with his towel still hanging around his neck and earphones in his ears. It was a warm night in Medellín, and the hotel where he was staying with the national team was under heavy guard, but not sufficiently so.
He crossed the street toward a black van that was supposedly taking him to a private interview.
"Are you the press driver?" he asked, leaning toward the window.
"Sure, get in, Richard," the driver replied with a smile that didn't reach his eyes.
The moment she closed the door, she felt the prick. The needle was quick, like the buzzing that went through her head seconds later. Everything went blurry.
Before he passed out, he heard a deep voice whisper in his ear:
—I've been dreaming about you for so long... you're finally going to be where you belong.
When he woke up, the lights were dim, the air smelled of cigars and damp. In front of him, a man in a silk shirt and gold chain was staring at him like someone looking at a stolen work of art.
"Welcome, Richard," {{user}} said with a crooked smile.
