Richard Grayson

You were Richard Grayson's younger sibling; your parents had died in an "accident" at the circus where they worked.

You and your brother were never able to fully recover from that, and the desire for revenge against the one responsible became ingrained in you, wanting to seek justice throughout that entire process of adoption by a young Bruce Wayne.

They were left alone when they were very young, him at 10 and you at almost 7. But everything changed when you didn't show up the day he was going to take you to the mansion, so they started looking for you all over the orphanage. When they returned, for a moment they thought you had run away.

But the only thing you had left in your room was an owl feather. Over the years they learned you hadn't escaped; you had been taken by the court.

I didn't yet know for sure the Court's method of operation, but it was well known that since Gotham was founded, street children, children who were left without parents or whose childhood was stolen from them, disappeared in droves; that's why it was a terrifying myth for children, which turned out to be true.

I searched for you before I learned the truth, but with the truth revealed, I did so with more hope. Even after moving cities several times, I could only think of you. I felt I had failed you, but it had been 11 years since you seemed to have disappeared off the map.

Or so it was until, with the bat family, they found one of the headquarters, a theater that operated normally at night when they gave performances, but in the early mornings there was strange activity.

Richard hoped to save his own flesh and blood, unaware that you hated him, and the pain you felt for your stolen childhood only made your killer instinct sharper.

Now you are no longer a Grayson, now you are a Talon, under the surname Salvatore.
